This document outlines the terms and conditions that govern your use of Les's Sewer Cleaning Service's website and the provision of our plumbing and drain cleaning services. 2. Service Agreement
2.1 Service Requests
Service requests may be made by phone at (218) 283-8858, through our website contact form, or by email at joannamays@lesssewersvc.com. Upon receiving your request, we will schedule a service appointment based on availability and the urgency of your situation. Emergency services are prioritized according to severity and availability of technicians.
2.2 Estimates and Pricing
We strive to provide accurate estimates for all services. However, please note:
- Initial estimates are based on the information provided by the customer and may be subject to change upon physical inspection of the plumbing system.
- If additional work is required beyond the initial scope, we will inform you and obtain approval before proceeding with any additional services.
- Emergency service calls outside of regular business hours may incur additional charges, which will be disclosed prior to service.
- Prices are subject to change without notice, but the price quoted at the time of service agreement will be honored for 30 days.
2.3 Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. For larger projects, we may require a deposit before work begins. Invoices not paid within 30 days of issuance may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law.
3. Service Execution
3.1 Access to Property
You agree to provide our technicians with reasonable access to your property, plumbing fixtures, and drain systems as necessary to perform the requested services. If access is restricted or unavailable at the scheduled time, a rescheduling fee may apply.
3.2 Service Limitations
We reserve the right to refuse service if:
- The requested service would violate local building codes or regulations.
- Working conditions are deemed unsafe for our technicians.
- The plumbing system is in such condition that performing the requested service could cause additional damage.
- The customer refuses to authorize necessary repairs to properly address the underlying issue.
3.3 Property Condition
While we take reasonable care to protect your property during service, you acknowledge that certain services, particularly those involving existing plumbing systems, may require access to walls, floors, or landscaping. We are not responsible for restoring finishes, paint, or landscaping that must be disturbed to access plumbing systems, unless specifically included in the service agreement.
4. Warranties and Guarantees
4.1 Workmanship Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of service completion. This warranty covers defects in the installation or repair work performed by our technicians. It does not cover:
- Issues arising from normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by customer misuse or neglect.
- Problems resulting from modifications made by anyone other than our technicians.
- Issues caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather events, acts of God).
4.2 Manufacturer Warranties
Any parts or equipment installed by us carry the manufacturer's warranty. We will assist you in processing warranty claims for defective parts during our workmanship warranty period.
4.3 Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us within 7 days of service completion. We will return to address any concerns related to the original service at no additional charge.
5. Liability Limitations
Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, special, or consequential damages.
- Pre-existing conditions in your plumbing system that were not caused by our services.
- Damage resulting from delays in service that are beyond our control.
- Issues arising from customer-supplied materials or equipment.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
6. Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances may require you to cancel or reschedule a service appointment. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50 or 10% of the estimated service cost, whichever is less. Emergency service cancellations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
